what the hells is this?
the top left map is county's of sates that voted democratic. the bottom left is county's that had the most cotton production in 1860. the one on the right is the cotton map placed over the voting map to show that those county's that produced the most cotton is 1860, voted overwhelmingly democratic in the 2008 presidential election.
